Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch is a 30-minute cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera which aired for one season on NBC from September 7, 1974 to August 30, 1975. It aired on Saturday morning from 8:30-9:00 am, opposite the popular The Bugs Bunny Show. 39 six-minute installments of the show were made. In the 80s, repeats were shown on USA Cartoon Express and later resurfaced on Cartoon Network and Boomerang. Since the show aired on NBC, Wheelie sometimes "imitated" the network's trademark "chimes". This was the first and only Hanna-Barbera series that has no humans and animals in it.

1.Wheelie is competing in the annual cross-country race to San Francisco. The Chopper Bunch ties his bumper to a stake at the starting line to slow him up. Who will get to the coast first and win the prize? 2.Scrambles makes friends with Wheelie o the rest of the Chopper Bunch can set a trap for him. Wheelie is so nice to Scrambles that they become close friends. When it comes time for Wheelie to fall into the pit Scrambles has mixed feelings about tricking his new friend. 3.Rota Ree gets bullied by the Chopper Bunch. Wheelie joins an auto gymnasium for a tune up so he can get in shape and defend her honor.

1.Wheelie is convinced by the Chopper Bunch that he is very sick and needs to go to the hospital. Once there the well-meaning Chopper Bunch mess up the doctors test results. 2.Revs talks the gang into spending the day at the beach. They are having a great time until another motorcycle group shows up and stirs up trouble. Wheelie tries to smooth things over with disastrous results. 3.Wheelie is mowing his yard when he spots Rota Ree. He goes over to talk to her when the mailman brings him a special delivery letter saying that his uncle is sick and need help at his junk yard. The junkyard is right next to the Tire Boot Hill Cemetery where the Chopper Bunch is hiding and dressing up like ghosts to try and scare Wheelie away.
