A valuable cargo of gold lies submerged in a space-liner off the coast of Greece. Our kids race to the scene to aid the Salvage Company who is prevented from recovering the cargo by a giant sea monster!
The far-out detective agency has to transport the priceless golden crystal of Mars to Hong Kong. En-route via the Astrorail, the Crystal is stolen by Lazer-Lips, a female jewel thief, who can project a laser beam from her lips that immobilizes anyone it touches. The recovery pursuit takes the kids through the factories, waterfront and seedy bars of futuristic Hong Kong.
A pirate hi-jacks space-transports carrying gold shipments by the use of a laser-projected ""cosmic claw."" Our detectives follow the trail to a ski resort planet where they foil an attempt to fix a beauty contest and corner the villain in his mountain hideout.
A series of mystifying thefts of museum collections has led our gang to a top-hatted robot who uses a matter transformer to reduce the stolen objects and store them in his cane. The robot-critic is merely a disguise, however, for a human crook!

Rickety Rocket is an animated television series, produced by Ruby-Spears Productions, and ran from 1979 to 1980 as a segment on The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show.
