The first round of the National Cheerleading Competition has finally come, and the girls are off to Orlando, Florida, to compete.
A poor Spanish grade could mean adios for a cheerleader. The squad tries to bond over an annual prank, and a team from the East Coast looms ahead at the National Cheerleading Competition.
While their choreographer is away, the squad's discipline goes down the tubes. A Christmas dance breaks most of the rules. Kaitlin gets real with her stunt group, and Chelsea and her mom butt heads.
Competition day dawns and one of the cheerleaders is MIA. An old rival threatens to bring it on - while a new rival appears out of the blue. News from a coach leaves the girls stunned.
The coaches squabble as the big competition approaches and it appears the squad may not be ready. The academic demands and family expectations leave Ayrica rattled, and Amanda's mom worries she's growing up too fast.
An injury forces the new squad to rethink their stunt groups. Chelsea goes head-to-head with her mom over her curfew. Nicole must choose between her best friend and her man, and a surprise Sweet 16 party ends in tears.
Description
Cheerleader Nation is a US television series based on the Paul Laurence Dunbar High School cheerleading team's ups and downs on the way to Nationals, of which they are the three time champions. The show also explains how cheerleading is an intense physical activity. It takes place in Lexington, Kentucky. The team is on a quest to win a third National Championship. It was broadcast on the channel Lifetime Television.
