Jenny Mitchell , a 14-year-old singer/guitarist from Gore who moved the audience and judges in her Dunedin audition with a subtly beautiful rendition of the Dixie Chicks’ song ‘Godspeed (Sweet Dreams)’
OKK stands for Ordinary Kids Krew, and this group of 25 dancers from Turangi ranges in age from 8 to 44. KurtX (Kurt Mueller, 50) is from Switzerland and moved to NZ 17 years ago when he met his Kiwi wife, Eileen. Geordie Meade (28) is a married father of two from Auckland who spent the last 10 years trying to crack the music industry. Oceana Olsen is a very poised and confident 10-year-old from Christchurch, who brought our judges to tears at her audition, singing ‘Beautiful’ by Christina Aguilera.
