Aditya helps the children in the stage play. Through the play, Aditya and the children spread awareness about the true meaning of Diwali. The residents of the society realise their mistake and dispose off their firecrackers. Aditya thanks Abhishek for helping him realise his mistake and for standing by Antara. Vidya returns home and is pleased to learn that Aditya helped the children stage the play. Vidya's belief in Aditya grows stronger and she feels assured that Aditya will pull himself through his current situation.
Aditya's desperate need for cash leads him to take an extreme step. He borrows money from a goon, who warns him against any delay in repayment. Billu's refusal to dance with Antara during the wedding causes friction between him and Abhishek. Vidya manages to pacify them by making Billu realise that nobody understands Antara as well as he does. Meanwhile, Antara's refusal to sleep becomes a grave concern for Aditya and Vidya. They fear Antara's health could suffer due to her behaviour.
Sameer and Aditya are shocked to learn that Vidya had gone to the bank. Vidya clarifies that she had gone to the bank to fetch Antara. Sameer and Aditya are relieved on hearing Vidya' statement. At night, Antara gets disturbed again and starts crying. Vidya tries to talk to Antara, and succeeds in pacifying her. Vidya assures Antara that she would undergo any test to become her mother and expresses the hope that one day Antara would accept her as her mother.
The manager of the restaurant explains that other guests would have objected to Antara's behavior and therefore he could not let her stay there. However, Vidya refuses to listen to any explanations. The manager consults his boss and then asks for forgiveness for his behavior in the past. He also says that they are his special guests and invites them to dine in the restaurant. Aarti calls up Vidya and informs her that she will be visiting her house the next day. Abhishek questions Vidya whether Aarti will be staying with them. Vidya explains to him that Aarti will be staying in Sameer's house after marriage. Abhishek then asks Vidya whether Antara will also move into her husband's home after marriage.
Billu and Abhishek's mothers realise their mistakes and apologise to each another. Aditya and his family go to a luxurious restaurant for dinner. But Antara starts throwing a tantrum due to which the manager of the restaurant behaves rudely with Aditya, forcing him to leave. However, Vidya refuses to bear this humiliation quietly. The next day, she shows up at the restaurant with a news reporter and several families that have faced a similar humiliation.
The Society Ladies Stop Their Children From Playing With Abhishek And Antara As They Feel That Autism Is Contagious. Aditya Plays Cricket With Abhishek And All The Kids Join Them.
The Principal Recognises Antara’s Talent And Tells Aditya That She Is Different From The Other Kids. Mrs Mehta Asks Antara To Read From A Book, But Antara Remains Silent.
On Vidya’s Request, Her School’s Principal Admits Antara In Their School. A Principal Of Another School Is In Awe Of Antara’s Talent As She Shows Aditya Her Unique Drawing.

The police try to contact someone through Anuradhas mobile. Vidya is confident that her husband Aditya will surely get the promotion this time, but he does not have much hope. Their neighbours son Billu comes to Adityas house for breakfast as usual. Vidya reminds Aditya that they have to go for dinner to her parents house. Adityas boss warns him to bear the consequences if he does not sanction his brother-in-laws loan. Adityas friend Sameer tries to persuade him for the same, but he refuses to give up his principles. The police inform Aditya about Anuradhas accidental death. Aditya lies to Vidya that he is going to Pune for some official work. Kaveri tells Aditya that Antara is his daughter.
Anuradha Rai gets her daughter Antara ready for school. Antaras classmates play pranks on her, but she never reacts. Antara answers all the questions correctly, but does not respond to her teacher. Her schoolmates try to irritate Antara by making noise. In an attempt to avoid them, she bumps into a boy, who falls and gets hurt. Anuradhas friend Kaveri asks her to call up Aditya who is Antaras father because it is difficult for a woman to manage everything alone. The school Principal tells Anuradha that she cant allow Antara to attend the school anymore because of her strange behaviour. Doctor tells Anuradha that Antara is suffering from a mental condition called autism. She suggests her to take Antara to Mumbai for treatment. Anuradha is lost in her own thoughts when she suddenly meets with an accident.
Description
Aapki Antra was a Zee TV soap opera which premiered on June 1, 2009 and ended on February 18, 2010. The story is about a girl, Antara, who is diagnosed with autism and who positively affects the lives of those she encounters during her life.
