Shaka declares no mercy on the Ndwandwe. Sikhunyana reaches KwaNgwane, only to realize he has brought danger to their door.
Hletjiwe and Sikhunyana flee. oYengweni stands on the brink as Zwide's army descends on the Mthethwa.
Dingiswayo marches to war, blind to the trap Ntombazi has set. Ngwadi and Nongila reach the Xhosa but are caught in a Boer assault. Shaka makes a decision he will regret.
Nongila and Ngwadi are captured by Boers. Somveli kills to hide his betrayal. Ntombazana lures Dingiswayo in.
Dingiswayo declares war on the Ndwandwe and appoints Ngomane to help Shaka build his army. Nongila and Ngwadi journey to the Xhosa, while Ntombazana arrives at oYengweni with a deadly mission.
Nandi suspects sabotage ahead of Shaka's coronation. Ntombazana targets Dingiswayo, setting the Ndwandwe's plan into motion.
Phungashe declares war. Can Shaka unite an untrained, divided Zulu army to save his people? In the north, the Ndwandwe deliver a bride to the Ngwane King, Somhlolo.
