Charlie visits a made-to-order window trim factory in Springfield, MA. Later, he and Tom install edge boards on the new deck. Kevin joins later to finish the tongue-and- groove decking. In the front yard, Jenn and Patrick discuss landscaping plans
Richard meets with the HVAC subs who are here to re-duct the house to make the system more efficient. Charlie demos the third-floor ceiling to make room for new insulation. Meanwhile, Tommy and Kevin install a double-hung window located in the dining room that looks onto the front porch.
Kevin and Charlie work together to remove aluminum siding from the house. Kevin heads off site to hear about the company that will take the siding away to be recycled. Back at the house, Kevin, Charlie and Tommy install a new steel beam.
Kevin and Tom remove and save the kitchen cabinets for reuse. Up on the roof, Charlie and Mark tackle the chimney teardown. Later, Kevin meets with the architect to learn the homeowner's vision before checking in on foundation plans with Charlie.
The team heads to Needham to meet Liz and Patrick in their 1896 Queen Anne, exploring plans for a new layout and rear addition. Jenn, Mark, and the homeowners' son kick off the project by removing and saving the old brick walkway.
It's a celebration in Western North Carolina as five families return to their homes after rebuilding from Hurricane Helene. The crew tours the houses and connects with each family. The location of the next project is revealed.
Jenn takes Swannanoa homeowners plant shopping and then helps with landscaping in North Asheville. Meanwhile, Kevin heads to Georgia for a carpet factory tour. Zack helps install a butcher block counter at Miah's.
Zack takes a canoe ride on the river. Kevin visits a local workshop that is building a vanity top for Paula. Jenn has the Swannanoa soil tested after the flood and delivers the news to homeowners Jim and Allie.
Kevin takes a tour of the restaurants and breweries that are opening back up after Hurricane Helene; prepping homeowners Jim and Allies' house to be painted; Mark installs a fireplace at the North Asheville project.
Mauro helps Paula stain her front door; Jenn meets with the North Asheville landscaper who is using boulders to make a new retaining wall and steps; Kevin helps project manager Noah install an interior door.
Kevin visits a high school carpentry program that's helping the community; meeting with an electrician in North Asheville; Tommy helps homeowner Paula turn an antique chest into a bathroom vanity.
Kevin helps in Swannanoa while Jenn checks in with homeowner Melinda as FEMA clears damaged trees. Mark tours an historic Inn and Richard joins building science experts who air seal Paula's house.
In Swannanoa, Kevin helps Jim's brother Bill tile a bathroom. In North Asheville, he joins father and son roofers JD and Jayden. Later in East Asheville, Kevin and builder Will remove rot and replace the damaged area of Paula's deck.
Mark meets with a local mason to investigate the depth of damage caused to a chimney by fallen trees. Siding starts to go up at Paula's. Kevin meets with Army Corp to discuss their continued relief efforts.
The builders start putting the homes back together in Asheville; rough-ins begin; meteorologist Stephanie Abrams explains why the storm hit Asheville so hard.
