After Hong Jie and the elders visited, Wei Zhao decided to lead Yueluo soldiers to Chuzhou to meet Pei Yan the next day, and Hong Jie readily agreed. Uncle Ping was impressed by Jiang Ci's disregard for safety in rescuing Wei Zhao.
In front of Xie Che, Pei Yan tried his best to fight for an opportunity for Wei Zhao to make meritorious service, and finally convinced Xie Che and agreed to let Pei Yan and Wei Zhao jointly lead troops to fight against Wei State. Yi Fei was ordered to take the scarred Wei Zhao back from the palace. When he passed by Lan Yue Tower on the way, he advised Wei Zhao to say goodbye to Jiang Ci so as not to harm her. Wei Zhao and Pei Yan agreed that after they led their troops to leave Qingkang, Pei Yan would arrange for someone to send Jiang Ci away safely.
Xie Che asked Tao Zizhu to send people to Chengzhou to investigate Wei Zhao. He learned that Jiang Ci had married Xiao Haitian's son Xiao Wuxia, and Wei Zhao was Xiao Wuxia. Jiang Ci learned that Wei Zhao's identity had been exposed and was sent to the slave fighting field today, leaving Wei Zhao to fend for himself. Pei Yan wanted to send Jiang Ci away from Qingkang, so Jiang Ci begged Pei Yan to save Wei Zhao.
Jiang Ci was suspected of poisoning Xie Che and was imprisoned. She had no love in her life and wanted to die. Wei Zhao was very anxious when he learned about this, and he discussed countermeasures with Pei Yan. Xie Yu asked Jiang Ci to harm Xie Chi and promised to help her clear her name.
After Yan Qiao Shuang died, Jiang Ci put all the blame on Wei Zhao. Wei Zhao advised her to rest in peace and send her out of the palace when she recovered. Jiang Ci gave Xie Che soup, but Xie Che was poisoned and fell into a coma after eating it. Jiang Ci was taken to jail.
The wedding day of Jiang Ci and Pei Yan is coming soon. Jiang Ci wants to escape from the marriage, and Dong Juan is willing to help her. On the wedding day, Jiang Ci secretly left the palace and accidentally saw her master, Yan Qiao Shuang, going to the palace. She asked Pei Yan for help in finding Yan Qiao Shuang.

Jiang Ci wanted to go find her master, Yan Qiao Shuang, but Wei Zhao hurriedly stopped her and promised to take her to find Yan Qiao Shuang after making arrangements. Jiang Ci invited Wei Zhao and Pei Yan to dinner, and they were jealous.
Xie Che wanted to reward Pei Yan for his merits, but Pei Yan did not want any reward and only wanted to marry Jiang Ci. When Wei Zhao learned about this, he came to Pei Yan to argue, but Pei Yan had made up his mind. Pei Yan and Wei Zhao expressed their intentions in regard to Jiang Ci one after another. Jiang Ci rejected Pei Yan but also did not agree to accept Wei Zhao. Wei Zhao secretly took Jiang Ci out of the palace and bought a little clay cat in the street.
Pei Yan wanted to take Jiang Ci back to Qingkang, but Jiang Ci categorically refused. Wei Zhao begged Jiang Ci to forgive him, but Jiang Ci couldn't let go. Yan Qiaoshuang persuaded Jiang Ci to accept Wei Zhao.
Wei Zhao and Jiang Ci led troops to fight against the Zhenyuan Army. Jiang Ci saw her master, Yan Qiao Shuang. Wei Zhao drew his sword and stabbed Yan Qiao Shuang. The two fought fiercely. Jiang Ci finally understood that Wei Zhao had brought her to Yueluo in order to kill Yan Qiao Shuang. Jiang Ci was caught by Lu Yu while trying to save her master, Yan Qiao Shuang. Lu Yu also found a letter hidden on her body and found out that Jiang Ci was the daughter of King Xie Chun of Qi. Pei Yan was surprised to learn about Jiang Ci's origin. Wei Zhao came to rescue Jiang Ci, but Jiang Ci spoke coldly to him.
After Jiang Ci's condition improved, she returned to Yueluo. Wei Zhao had been waiting for a long time. While in a coma, Jiang Ci vaguely remembered that Wei Zhao had come to the clinic to see her, but Wei Zhao had denied it. It was snowing heavily, and Wei Zhao carried Jiang Ci on his back. Jiang Ci felt warm, and Jiang Ci vowed to stay with Wei Zhao.
Dysentery spread in Yueluo City, and many people were infected. Wei Zhao arranged for them to go to the suburbs for treatment, but they refused. Jiang Ci took the initiative to take the people to the suburbs for treatment. Wei Zhao made a paper kite and gave it to Jiang Ci, asking her to use the kite to report that she was safe. Lu Yu captured many Yueluo people and forced Wei Zhao to open the city gate, but Wei Zhao refused to cooperate. Jiang Ci contracted dysentery due to overwork, and Wei Zhao rushed to take care of her in time.
When Wei Zhao saw someone assassinating Jiang Ci, he rushed forward to save Jiang Ci regardless of his own safety, but he was seriously injured. Wei Zhao and the four elders formed a bloody alliance to drive away Lu Yu's Zhenyuan army. Then Jiang Ci wanted to fight side by side with Wei Zhao. Jiang Ci found the seeds of the coffin flower at Lone Star Peak, and she planted the seeds.
Jiang Ci and Wei Zhao have been in love for a long time, and they held their wedding at Moonset.
In order to find the seeds of the coffin flower, Jiang Ci climbed up Lone Star Peak regardless of the danger but accidentally fell down. Wei Zhao greeted her. Pei Yan came to find Jiang Ci, but Jiang Ci refused to go with him. Pei Yan arrested Wei Zhao and tortured him, forcing him to admit that he was a silver-faced assassin. Wei Zhao vowed to die unyielding.
Pei Yan rushed to Yueluo City and learned that today was the day for the city lord's election. Wei Zhao was going to participate in the election. Pei Yan sent people to find Wei Zhao and Jiang Ci in Yueluo City and must bring Jiang Ci back. Today is Wei Zhao's birthday. Jiang Ci drew a height line for him, repaired the swing and gave it to Wei Zhao with Xiao Wuxia's word "Xia" engraved on it.
Wei Zhao asked Jiang Ci to teach A Le to practice Wu Qin Xi. Jiang Ci was surprised, how did Wei Zhao know that she knew Wu Qin Xi. Pei Yan concluded that Wei Zhao had gone to Chuzhou, so he applied to Emperor Chu to go to Chuzhou. Wei Zhao took Jiang Ci to Mingyue Valley to look for coffin flowers. Coffin flowers grow in front of graves, but this place is already a mass grave, and there are no coffin flowers at all. Jiang Ci wants to find the seeds of coffin flowers.
Today is the day of the Yueluo City Lord's election. Pei Yan led people to Yueluo City and sent people to Yueluo to find Jiang Ci's whereabouts. Jiang Ci repaired the swing that Wei Zhao played on when he was a child and encouraged him to do what he wanted to do.
When Jiang Ci heard that Pei Yan was going to arrest Wei Zhao, she immediately reported the news to Wei Zhao and missed the time to meet her master. Wei Zhao took Jiang Ci to Yueluo. Pei Yan guessed that Wei Zhao was taking Jiang Ci to Yueluo and couldn't wait to go to Wei Zhao to get the account books.
Wei Zhao took Jiang Ci away from Nanling and promised to send her to Yuzhou. Yi Fei found out that Jiang Ci was Yan Qiaoshuang's apprentice, and he wanted to kill the Yan Qiaoshuang sisters to avenge his father, Xiao Hai Tian. As soon as Pei Yan returned to Qingkang, he couldn't wait to go to his mother, Rong Yu Die, to ask about the situation and wanted to know her purpose of hiding gold, silver, treasures and weapons in Bihe Villa.
Jiang Ci hid on the beam but was caught by Wei Zhao. Jiang Ci jumped down from the beam and hit Wei Zhao. Pei Yan sentenced He Yongli to prison for Jiang Ci. He Zhenwen was disappointed with Pei Yan and did not expect that he would waste his future for a woman. Jiang Ci left with Wei Zhao, and Pei Yan was very sad.
Pei Yan has been in love with Jiang Ci for a long time. He can't help but want to kiss Jiang Ci, but Jiang Ci flatly refuses.
Wei Zhao was accidentally injured, and Jiang Ci bandaged him with her own hands. Jiang Ci wanted to open a gap in A Yan's body and continue to investigate He Yonglin. Wei Zhao and Pei Yan both were fond of Jiang Ci, and they were jealous because of Jiang Ci.
Jiang Ci learned that A Yan had been raped by He Yonglin, and she desperately came to save A Yan. He Yong Lin was rude to her. Wei Zhao came to Jiang Ci's rescue in time and taught He Yong Lin a lesson. Jiang Ci asked Pei Yan to help seek justice for A Yan, and Pei Yan promised to deal with it impartially. He Zhen Wen begged Pei Yan to bypass He Yong Lin.
Jiang Ci personally cooked a large pot of porridge and called all the hungry people. Wei Zhao felt that her method was not advisable and that evil should be used to fight evil. Wei Zhao took Jiang Ci to grab grain and distribute it to the hungry people. Jiang Ci expressed her gratitude to him. Pei Yan persuaded Jiang Ci to stay with him and promised to accompany her on a sightseeing trip after finishing the ordnance case.
Pei Yan was working hard to investigate the case in Nanling. Some people were worried that he would find out the truth about the murder of the hungry people, so they would kill the hungry people. Wei Zhao pretended to be hungry and secretly investigated the truth. Jiang Ci couldn't help but worry for him when she saw that he was in danger. Wei Zhao was seriously injured, and Jiang Ci cured his wounds with her own hands.
Pei Yan went to Nanling to investigate the murder of hungry people. Jiang Ci wanted to go with him, but Pei Yan politely declined. When Wei Zhao learned about this, he ridiculed Jiang Ci. Jiang Ci took Wei Zhao to Nanling and asked Wei Zhao to pretend to be hungry.
Pei Yan wanted to resign because of Jiang Ci, but the clansmen disagreed and accused him one after another. Wei Zhao stood up to defend Pei Yan and taught those tribesmen a lesson. Jiang Ci cooked a bowl of porridge with her own hands, and Wei Zhao added a lot of sugar. Jiang Ci was curious about why he liked sweets so much, but Wei Zhao avoided answering.
Wei Zhao has been watching his people die one by one. He puts all the blame on Jiang Ci and regrets not killing Jiang Ci in the first place. Jiang Ci was imprisoned for assassinating Pei Yan, and she and Wei Zhao were in the same cell.
Jiang Ci found out that Teng Rui was not dead at all, and she immediately reported it to Pei Yan. Wei Zhao threatened Jiang Ci, and Jiang Ci took the opportunity to stab him. Wei Zhao was unwilling and stabbed Jiang Ci with the same dagger.
Pei Yan took Jiang Ci on a night out and showed great care to Jiang Ci, which made Jiang Ci feel moved. As soon as Wei Zhao saw Jiang Ci, Jiu spoke harshly to her. Pei Yan was curious about why Wei Zhao was so cruel to Jiang Ci. Jiang Ci tried her best to find excuses to cover up. She found out that Wei Zhao was Xiao Wuxia, the son of Xiao Haitian. General Lei insisted that Pei Yan killed Teng Rui and asked Xie Che to punish Pei Yan. Xie Che put Pei Yan and Jiang Ci in prison.
It is said that back then, Wei Zhao secretly spread false news, claiming that when King Qi was killed on the night of the moonset, the palace guard Zhao Wu witnessed the whole process with his own eyes. Later, Zhao Wu was also unfortunately killed, leaving an unsolved mystery. Zhao Wu got married before entering the palace. His wife died young, leaving his only son living in Nanling. The news spread like wildfire and reached the ears of Tao Zi Zhu, the general manager of the Imperial Palace, who immediately reported it to the suspicious Emperor Xie Che.
Jiang Ci felt very aggrieved. She neither wanted to be a spy for Wei Zhao nor was she wanted to be used as a bait by Pei Yan. She couldn't afford to offend these two bosses, but she couldn't swallow the anger in her heart. So, she secretly wrote down all of Teng Rui's movements, made a fake record, and placed it in a designated place to fool Wei Zhao. But Wei Zhao was not so easy to deceive. He knew at a glance that Jiang Ci was playing tricks, so he simply tied her up at night and forced her to hand over the real thing. Jiang Ci had no choice but to take out the real surveillance records, asking Wei Zhao to return the little clay cat given by her master. But Wei Zhao didn't take her seriously at all.
Speaking of which, Wei Zhao actually hurt Jiang Ci with a poisoned dagger and also secretly acted against Mrs. Zhou. In order to save these two lives, Pei Yan and Prince Zhuang were as anxious as ants on a hot pot. They ran to Emperor Xie Che to ask for the precious heart-protecting pill. But there is only one pill. What should they do? Prince Xie Chi came up with an idea and asked the two of them to play chess to determine the outcome. Whoever wins will get the elixir. King Zhuang changed his mind and asked Wei Zhao to fight for him in a battle of wits and courage with Pei Yan.
In order to escape, Jiang Ci pretended to be drunk and deliberately threw the vase into the river to make it look like she had jumped into the river. In fact, she quietly slipped under Lan Yue Lou's bed at night. Unexpectedly, he was stopped by Wei Zhao as soon as she went out. Wei Zhao threatened Jiang Ci with a dagger and asked Jiang Ci if she had revealed his secret. Jiang Ci repeatedly denied it, but Wei Zhao was dubious and hung her from a tree for rigorous interrogation.
After Cui Liang's day and night treatment, coupled with the magical power of the Millennium Snow Toad Pill, Jiang Ci was finally out of danger, and Pei Yan let Cui Liang go back to rest.
Today, the peace talks between Da Ming Kingdom and Wei State were held at Fanglin Garden in Qingkang, the capital of Da Ming Kingdom.
