Carmela’s attempt to save Juanito leads to Doña Soledad’s tragic death. Mother Olivia takes the blame and faces execution, revealing her true nature. But when rebels strike again, Carmela is abducted and left at Catapang’s mercy.
Sonya pleads for Ignacio’s freedom. A rebel attack leaves Josefina gravely wounded. In the rising chaos, Carmela agrees to marry Leandro, unaware that another wave of rebels is coming, led by Juanito.
To protect her lineage through Maria, Carmela reluctantly agrees to marry Leandro. She begins seeing mysterious visions of Leandro and Carmelita’s past, marked by red roses. Meanwhile, Don Alejandro’s schemes are far from over, forcing the sisters to flee for their lives.

After tragedy forces Juanito’s family into exile, the Flores clan seizes control of San Alfonso. Carmela suspects a hidden scheme, especially when she’s arranged to wed Leandro Flores. Seeking clarity, she escapes to Sugbu, only to cross paths with Juanito once more.
