A man claiming to be Vetrimaaran goes to his old house and creates a disturbance; he tries to rekindle an old friendship with Maathangi. At the same time, Arjun visits Priya’s house to investigate the jewellery theft, while Maasani experiences fleeting visions of a looming danger around him.
At Dhoolpet Police Station, a man named Vetrimaaran files a complaint stating that his family was murdered twenty years ago. At the same time, Periya Thambi approaches Arjun with a complaint that jewellery has been stolen from his house.
When ADCP Natarajan arrives at the site of the encounter, Arjun and Vetrimaaran reveal the identity of the culprit, which shocks them. Later, they explained to Maasani and Madhangi how they tracked him.
With the information given by Jasmine, the police questioned ADCP Natarajan driver Pandian. Meanwhile Maasani get disturbing intuitions.

Arjun strongly condemns Periyathambi’s attempts to tamper with the evidence. Maran shows intense determination to save the absconding Sukumar. The entire focus of the police turns towards Kanchana.
On the way to the court, three mysterious men attempt to kill Inba Sekar, and Maran encounters and neutralizes them. Sukumar escapes from Arjun’s custody and goes missing. The Commissioner gives Maran and Arjun a three-day deadline.
Maran discovers that Mathangi is his childhood friend. Priya informs Arjun about the impending danger. Maasani begins to see mysterious illusions connected to the case.
Maran cleverly handles the harassment caused by Mathangi to make him vacate the house. Meanwhile, as Arjun conducts an investigation at Ratnam’s second wife, Kanchana’s house, an unexpected twist occurs.
Displeased with Arjun’s way of investigation, Maasani decides to quit the job. However, when Arjun explains the truths he has uncovered in his investigation, Maasani develops respect and admiration for him.
Maran moves into the first floor of Maadhangi’s house. Arjun begins his investigation with Ratnam’s family. During the course of Arjun’s inquiry, Priya secretly follows him.
Arjun and Maran split up their tasks. Maran begins his pursuit of two murder cases, while Arjun sets out to investigate one murder case.
Maadhangi, the lawyer who takes up Sukumar’s case, challenges Maran, saying she will confront him in court. ACP Arjun joins ACP Maran in handling the three murder cases.
ACP Maran interrogates Sukumar. Evidence is found both at Sukumar’s workplace and at his house. Maasani’s intuition says Sukumar is innocent, yet the forensic intelligence begins to suspect him.
A haunting past resurfaces as Vettrimaran confronts old scars, while a single piece of jewellery drags Sukumar into a mystery that reveals a missing girl’s terrifying truth.
Chandra proudly surrenders her sons at the Dhoolpet Police Station for avenging their father’s death, creating tension when two politicians intervene. Soon after, a burnt head was found in the dump yard and that led the police dog straight to the lodge of the mysterious stranger. During interrogation, the officers discover that he is actually their newly appointed ACP Vetrimaaran. As he takes charge, a woman’s severed head unexpectedly falls from a fish laden tricycle after an accident, adding horror around the town. Vetrimaaran heads to the forensic lab and examines all three recovered heads.
Dhoolpet celebrates Ayudha Pooja, and the police station gets alerted after news of a new ACP’s arrival. And a mysterious stranger with a gun checks into a lodge, while Constable Maasani gets intuitions on murders about to happen on the same night, the very next morning in the town, two young boys are found near a temple holding a head, which creates tension around Dhoolpet.
