Markovic attempts to break through to the juvenile killer, but his usual methods fail. As the interrogation continues, questions arise about the boy’s true motives and whether someone else is manipulating the situation.
The suspect is finally captured, and Markovic enters a tense twenty four hour interrogation. Under state security supervision, investigators question both the young suspect and his parents, with no room for mistakes.
After another murder, fear spreads through the city as reports of an unknown strangler surface. Under constant scrutiny from state security, Markovic struggles to make progress until an unrelated assault offers a possible breakthrough.
A second woman is found dead, followed by a near fatal attack the same night. Markovic realizes a serial killer is active in Prague and faces growing pressure from state security while pursuing a controversial theory about the suspect.
