Nome, Alaska - With temperatures rising and the Bering Sea melting, time is running out for the fleet of gold dredgers. As the ice begins to fracture, one team sees their dream of getting on the gold float out to sea.
The tides are turning. As competition continues to build throughout the fleet, a turf war has started on the tomcod claim. With the season coming to a close friendships have crumbled and relationships are near collapse, and it’s all for the lure of gold.
In Nome, gold fever is on the rise as the fleet races to find fortune before season's end. One miner turns treacherous by leaking valuable information to the competition. Zeke Tenhoff battles nitrogen poisoning and a toxic partnership, while Emily Riedel suspects her "Dragon Slayer" maybe sinking the business.
It's getting late in the ice mining season, and the challenges of finding gold are wearing on the miners. Vernon Adkison has a heated confrontation with a crew member. The Kellys welcome a new diver with potentially fatal consequences. Emily Riedel faces her demons, while the Miss Nomer crew has conflicting gold-finding strategies.
The dangers of working under the ice are becoming glaringly apparent to the fleet's greenhorns and veterans. Zeke and Glen move to an area of deep sea and become concerned with nitrogen poisoning. On the Shamrock, Cody Moen gets a little too big for his britches.
The hard reality of the winter season begins to set in. Partnerships become strained as tempers and egos flare. On the Miss Nomer, Glen LeBaron gripes and Zeke Tenhoff faces the judge. On the Reaper, a discussion about money turns ugly. Emily Riedel snaps over frozen equipment, and on The Wild Ranger, Jason starts to rub everyone the wrong way.

Bering Sea Gold: Under the Ice is a reality television series, from the creators of the Deadliest Catch, set in Nome, Alaska that airs on Discovery Channel. In the series we follow the crews on 'The Lazy Gator', 'The Clark' and 'Shamrock' during the ice season. Viewers of the Bering Sea Gold television series will recognise several crew members.
