After seeing off Mayumi and her mother at the station, Setsuko begins the process of tying up all the remaining loose ends in her own life story.
Mayumi is reported missing to the police and the media, and her father suspects Setsuko. Setsuko must decide how to proceed while keeping Mayumi safe.
Setsuko brings Kiichiro's daughter from his previous marriage to visit him in the hospital, and confronts his doctor about the truth behind his crash.
Description
Setsuko Koda is a woman who is married to her mother's ex-lover. Events unfold as her husband Kiichiro is involved in a car accident as Setsuko revisits her past while trying to help a little girl facing abuse.
